    Quick question.
    Is the lesion really at C6-7?
    It seems that the compression and the hyperintesity on the of spinal parencyma are more evident at C4-5.
    But judging from the high spinous process of the vertebra on AX view, it looks like C6-7, not C4-5.

      Thanks for your interest in the post and your question! This particular dog has cervical spondylomyelopathy with multilevel compression (C4/5, C5/6, C6/7), but the transverse images shown above are at C6-7. I agree that on the mid-sagittal image (above left), the intraparenchymal hyperintensity is more readily apparent at C4/5, but on transverse images, it was more noticeable at C6/7.
